‘stand in’ was my graphic design senior thesis from my time at California College of the Arts.
The brand is satirizing peer-to-peer SaaS apps by allowing users to pay others to show up to events and daily activities.
The concept was based on the theme of greed for your own time with my thesis statement being:
Our greed for convenience is ruining our sense of responsibility. With our need to be productive or alone, we often sacrifice depth for convenience.
Based on this statement, I created a brand experience video explaining the product using stock photography + video in combination with an app demo.
